Review of The Days Ahead EP by Alex Miller, Decoy Music:

The first time I heard The Scene Aesthetic, I could bet I had the same experience as almost every one of their other longtime fans. “Beauty in the Breakdown” was such an innocently catchy, perfect track. The voices of Andrew de Torres and Eric Bowley melted together perfectly, like when you finally find that smoothie where your two favorite fruits finally make sense. They share two of the clearest and crispest voices and are continuously the highlight of the band.

The Scene Aesthetic - “The Days Ahead EP” CD Release Show This is going to be such a special and intimate show! The Q Cafe can only hold 200 people, so it’s going to be nice and cozy. With the help of some of our friends, we’re going to play the entire EP live as well as some old classics! Heck, we might even get to the point where we’re taking requests! It’s going to be a grand time! We’re also thinking about broadcasting the show live, so stay tuned for details. Who would like to watch that? Seattleites!
