Hello From Argentina

This website is very old.. and Andrew and I have been bad about updating it. Sorry. It's mainly because I’m in Argentina on a little hiatus and Andrew is a busy man with Danger Radio. My hope is that come December or January we can have a new site up and start pumping out some great news about The Scene Aesthetic. Andrew and I are still very committed to the band and have been in pretty constant contact bouncing lots of ideas off one another and coming up with some really cool plans for when I come home (mid-December).

I can’t say much about what’s happening back in the studio because we haven’t made an “official announcement”, but let’s just say new material..cough, another record, cough..WILL be released before I come home. The material was recorded well before I left and Andrew is working on finishing the songs up. We’re so stoked.

Danger Radio just dropped their full length: Used & Abused and you can find it anywhere. I highly suggest all of our fans picking up a copy because it’s probably the best pop album of 2007... I kid you not. The Scene Aesthetic is going to continue regardless of the busy schedule of Danger Radio. Andrew and I are set on making it happen. We’re really excited to start writing again. I wish I had the time to say more or make regular updates, but I don’t have that luxury right now.

Right now I’m focused on making the most of the last 5 months I have left in Argentina. My mission has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever chosen to do and I don’t regret putting the rest of my life on hold for one second. I miss all of you! I thank everyone who’s taken the time to write me a letter or send a little package, you don’t have any idea of how much that means to me. I’ve tried to be very good about writing everyone back.

Until mid-December, I send my love digitally.

MAILING ERIC UPDATE!!

Wanna write Eric a letter or send him a package?

Have you tried sending Eric a letter and it was returned to you? Don't worry, it's not your fault.

From here on out send anything you want to get to Eric to this address:

Elder Eric Kimberlin Bowley
Argentina Rosario Mission
Blvd Argentino 7935
2000 Rosario
Santa Fe
ARGENTINA

Tip #1 If you use the old P.O. Box address for letters they will get sent back to you.

Tip #2 If you're sending a package, you HAVE to send it through U.S. Mail or it wont get to him.

Tip #3 ALWAYS put a really low value on the pakages you send because sometimes he has to pay to pick them up and the higher value you put the more he'll have to pay!

Tip #4 It might take 2 or 3 stamps to send depending on which state you live in. So keep that in mind and keep the letters coming!

- Like to write? Send him a letter!
- Like to draw? Draw him some pictures!
- Like photography? Send him some pictures!
- Like to create poetry or lyrics? Share them with Eric!

"I'm alive and doing very well! I have a little over a year left before I come home. I'm looking forward to writing new songs and touring when I get back. So, if you're into the whole snail mail thing... drop me a line!"

New AIM screen name for TSA: Le Greensong

Also, we're updating all of the tour dates as the venues and promoters continue to confirm with us. So check back frequently for all of the latest updates. We'll keep TSA.com, our Myspace, & our purvolume pages updated simultaneously. So if a change is made, it'll be made everywhere at once.

We're really excited about the show tomorrow with Liz Huffman at the Kirkland Teen Center.

We're also excited about leaving on our first full US tour with Danger: Radio in less than 2 weeks!

Just a few things

Just a reminder to everyone that we're playing our CD release show tonight! We couldn't be more excited about that and hope that everyone can come out and see us before we leave for a few weeks.

I've updated the Tour page to as much information as I've been given. Everything on there is as up-to-date as humanly possible right now and if things change, it'll change here first.

& I posted another journal entry.

East Coast Shows

We'd like to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out see us these last two nights in CT and NJ. Thank you to everyone who came up and talked to us.. honestly, it was amazing. And another big thanks to everyone who supported us in the huge sing-a-longs. We had a lot of fun meeting everyone. And we'll definitely be coming back east as soon as we can.

Andrew and I are getting ready to go into NYC and spend a few hours there seeing the city and being tourists.

There's only 5 more days until our CD release show! And that also means we'll be hitting the road right afterwards to come out and visit a bunch of you on the west coast! Plan on coming to the shows if they're in a city near you! We'll have cd's for sale as well as tons of NEW merch (& hoodies!).

The new website takes flight!

So much has happened in the past 2 weeks! It's unreal. We started preorders for the CD and we couldn't be happier with the support that we've been getting from fans across the world. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, you can preorder your copy of the cd right HERE.

We're really excited to hit the road with our friends from Danger: Radio & Lydia. If you don't already listen to those two bands, you should check them out, because they're both great. If we're coming to a city near you, we hope that you'll come out and show us your support. We've love to meet you and talk with you at the shows. It'll be a lot of fun and we'd like to make a ton of new friends!

Also, a huge thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen to both of our new songs that we put up on myspace and purevolume pages. We're so proud of the CD and we cannot wait for everyone to hear what we've been working on for this past year.
